A few details about our lead instructor, Shawn Rankin:

• 1983 to 1986 Attended Ottawa University with concentration in Biology


• A member of the construction community for twenty years


• Has constructed over 100 dwelling units


• Has renovated over 200 properties


• Has personally designed over 50 homes


• Is a Certified R2000 Builder


• Is a Certified IICRC Water Restoration Technician


• Is a Recognized CMHC Healthy Home Builder


• Is a Recognized CMHC Healthy Home Renovator


• Is a Certified HRAI Ventilation Installation Technician


• Is a Certified HRAI Design Consultant


• Is an Energy Star Participant


• Certified Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System Training


• Mold Assessment & Clean Up: Residential Training (IAQ Resources Canada)


• Certified Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration Technician


• Completed the Applied Microbial Remediation Technician Protocol


• Currently operating an Indoor Air Quality Investigators Company


• Currently designs on average a Healthy Home once every 7 weeks


• Member of the Ottawa Carleton Home Builders Association


• Member of the Tarion New Home Warranty Program


• Member of the Indoor Air Quality Association


• Currently a member of the Board of Directors for Champions for Children (fundraising arm for the C.A.S.)
